That's how many stitches are invested into this shawl already. And- I'm only on repeat 26 out of 36. That also doesn't include how many times I made mistakes- causing me to tink slowly back- stitch by stitch and then reknit correctly.
So far I haven't left any errors unfixed.
Back to knitting before The Boy wakes up from his nap.
Hey, was my kid the only super cranky one this morning or what?

This is stunningly beautiful.
Looking forward to meeting you on a future Tuesday night. Your blog is lovely!
That is a lot of stitches! Good thing it is a labor of love.
The kids weren't cranky this morning, but boy was I. Even the bossmen asked me what was wrong since I wasn't my chipper bubbly self.
Which pattern is that? I'm thinking about the Shetland lace shawl (I think that's the name), also from Victorian Lace Today, but I'm not sure if I have the stamina for all that knitted on border!
Oh! It's gorgeous! I love the yarn choice, too - I'm glad you let the yarn do the talking!
That's really pretty! I love the way the yarn fits the pattern.
