Red Raglan

So in a flurry of attempting to finish things so that I can take a break from knitting, I started a new project. Makes sense, doesn't it?
Only another knitter would understand how you need to take a break so you pile on more work.
This is the top down cardigan from Cosmicpluto Knits. I'm doing it on size 10 needles and it's going super fast!

The yarn is Cascade 220, in a really, really bright red color. The photos make it look orange, but trust me- it's red.

In other news, I've set a date for myself to stop knitting. On April 1 I'm going to stop knitting for 3 weeks. My wrist is beyond hurting. It gave out on me as I was putting dishes away on Monday night, causing the plate to smash. If I was carrying The Boy? Then what? I have to rest it. Period.

I have to finish the vest for Schaefer. The back is complete. I can't work on it as often as I want. The size 4 needles make my wrist ache much quicker than larger needles do. Once I get it done, then I can take a break.

So, April 1.

Crap. That's coming up fast, isn't it?

It's good to see that warm red- it will replace the sun that's not been seen for some time.

Holy April 1- though sometimes I convince myself that knit-blogging is as good as knitting.

When I first saw your top down cardigan, I thought we are knitting the same thing. Because I am knitting the Sunshine Top from Lily Go. Their beginings look very similar, but I am knitting with fingering weight yarn and sz3 needles.

Nice choose for your cardi's color, I love red!!!

if your wrist is hruting that bad, you really really need to rest it... and possibly wear a brace for a bit
are you doing any kind of ice/heat treatment? tanking anti-inflammitories? doing stretches?

its like a sports injury- you have to rest before you can get back in the game!

I love the red! I too had a major wrist issue, complete with picking up a pyrex bowl and dropping it in the same motion. Not physical therapy nor rest nor brace worked. What did work was my chiropractor. It was amazing. Good luck with your wrist.

Maybe it's time for something else crafty. Like Sewing! Just saying.

Cosmic Pluto's raglan cardi is great! It's one of my favorite patterns. I like how you are doing the edging. Is that garter or moss stitch? I think I need glasses.
