Have skeins that need winding?
Send them to me! Heehee.
I got the ball winder the day before yesterday. And I can't stop winding balls!
Of yarn. Mind out of the gutter, people.
I did not buy a swift and judging by the 4 plus hours spent on one snarly knotted mess, I'm buying one this weekend. Know where I can get one cheap?
Sassy sock 2 will be done today. I'm mad at myself for taking so long to complete it.
But the ball winder!! What fun.
More later.

I got a swift after fighting with one ball for 5 hours one day. Anne over at Crafty Diversions has a tutorial for a homemade swift.
Yeah, I'm about as handy as you can imagine.
And the husband- he could pull it off wonderfully, but he's an engineer, so that design would have to be redesigned (again and again and again) before he spent the 24 hours straight trying to make the best damn swift ever, one that would make all the other husbands of knitters thru out the world jealous.
Nah, I'll just buy one and save my marriage (and sanity), thanks. lol
LOL!!! I hear you. My M is a musician so, if it doesn't make a pretty sound, even if that's not what it's intended for, he'll futz with it until it does.
