Photo Post
Here's some before photos:
Red, yellow and blue striped. Yikes. Ignore the cardboard on the floor, we'd already started taping and that's to protect the carpet.
The light fixture has to go too. I have no idea what I want in there, but it's not this.
One coat of primer. We had to do 2 coats, plus sand off the yellow stripe. You can still feel some of the stripe if you run your hand along the wall. Grr.
And this is one coat of the color we chose. It's a greenish tan. Sometimes during the day it looks one color, other times it looks another. Either way, it matches the window hangings I have. Awesome.
Today we are painting the second coat, possibly getting the light fixture and best of all, getting our air conditioning back! YAY! (That's another whole story.)
And I leave you with some visitors from the other day:
Two deer- a momma and a baby. (I'll put this up on flickr so you can see it better. So cool!)

Jesus that's bright! Your color is a huge improvement.
Oh come now, couldn't you just feel your creative juices flowing in that room? With the colors to inspire you...No? Not at all....?
Me neither. Bleh!
isn't it nice to move into your very own house, look at a room, say, "that's awful!" and change it?
I just can't believe you didn't keep the room the way it was. ;-)
That was amazingly bright! And it looks like it continued a little way onto the ceiling?!?!
