Knitting is Nourishment
Perhaps karma heard me, perhaps it is just the right time. A new baby will be a wonderful addition to my already fantastic family. It's really early, only about 5 weeks in- but I'm so excited. I was hoping to wait another few weeks before spreading the word....just in case something happened. But since I'm already nauseous all damn day and my pants are already fitting tightly, I figured that it's safe.
The next few months are going to be interesting. :)
Wrong. Just wrong. You can see the purl stitches behind the ribbing. I knew this was incorrect, but couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong.
Corrected. Everything flows.
And the backside of the pocket. It gets tacked down in the back, instead of sewn into the front of the garment. Oh...yeah, that makes much more sense.
It's corrected now. (And can I just say how happy I am that I didn't email the designer and embarrass myself completely??)
One of the most gorgeous things I've ever knit. Ever. The buttons just add to the beauty.
I can get a modeled shot when I shower before 4pm (it's dark out after then). I'm so lazy lately.
What do you guys think?
I might add more things, but right now- that list seems like a good start. Think I'm missing something? Let me know.
I started a new sweater last night. Sweaterbabe's Lush and Lacy. I'm doing it in Schaefer's almond colored Miss Priss, the best damn wool ever.
Oh- and the mess of blue yarn that I didn't want to discuss:
